Universal design in practice
Universal design is about creating solutions that are accessible and usable for everyone — regardless of differences in functionality.
The Bevica Foundation works purposefully and strategically in partnerships, where the aim, among other things, is to translate knowledge and principles into practice. This is done through our partnerships from practice, which include the following:
- Foreningen Folkemødet
- Copenhagen Municipality
- National Development Fund
- Association of Young People with Disabilities
- Parasport Denmark
We have gathered a number of examples from these partnerships that can serve as inspiration for what universal design can look like in practice.
We have also collected some examples from previous projects in the fund that are outside the partnerships, but which in the same way can serve as inspiration.
The examples are also reproduced in our vast knowledge library, where you also have the opportunity to engage with our AI robot, which helps you become smarter.
