We work in networks

Only when we share knowledge do we become smarter, and therefore our networks form an important part of the work to achieve the goals we are working towards.

We facilitate meetings between our three networks — together and separately — several times a year. The goal is to inspire with new knowledge about the agendas that fill the foundation, and create spaces for us to talk across and inspire each other to new ideas. Members of the Bevica Foundation's various networks also receive regular invitations to exclusive events and master classes.

Meet our network

Forskernetwerk

The purpose of the research network is to increase and strengthen universal design as a research field in Denmark, as well as to disseminate and develop research-based knowledge about universal design in the work to strengthen the Leave No One Behind agenda in Denmark.

Partnership network

The Partnership Network is created to inspire and learn from the experiences of the Foundation's partnerships. The foundation consists of nine primary partnerships, which work both in education and in practice.

Alumni Network

In the Alumni Network we bring together all current and former participants in the Bevica Scholarship Programme. The network is part of the work to create attractive research environments around universal design - both now and in the future.

Forskernetwerk

The Bevica Foundation's multidisciplinary research network consists of researchers, all of whom work with the value-based concept of universal design in the expertise they come up with. They are carefully selected for their expertise.

Interdisciplinarity is important, since universal design cannot be lifted within a single discipline, and the members of the research network each cover disciplines that contribute to shaping the essential framework for lived life within, among other things, the built environment, IT, educational practice, the labour market, media, design, product development and management.

The Partnership Network

The Bevica Foundation is not applicant-driven. Instead, we work in strategic partnerships that run over several years. The partnership network includes key representatives from the Foundation's primary strategic partnerships.

The partnership network has been built as a forum for inspiration and exchange of experience among the Bevica Foundation's primary partnerships: The Royal Academy of Architecture, Design, Conservation, DTU, Design School Kolding, AAU Innovation at Aalborg University, Foreningen Folkemødet, Copenhagen Municipality, Landsbyggefonden, Parasport Danmark and the Association of Young People with Disabilities (SUMH).

Alumni Network

All past and present participants in the Bevica Scholarship Programme are invited to join the Foundation's Alumni Network.

Members of the Bevica Foundation Alumni Network receive invitations to selected events in the Bevica Foundation during the year. Its purpose is to strengthen members' knowledge of and interest in universal design.
