Description of treatment
Processing of grant applications, general contact and cookie data
When you apply to be considered for the award of a grant, we ask you to enter a number of personal data in an online application form. We use this personal data in the processing of your application and in connection with a possible grant of a grant. We also use your personal data to get in touch with you if you write to us via the website. In the event that grant of a grant is offered, we will also use your personal data in connection with statutory reporting to relevant public authorities.
Categories of personal data
We process a number of common personal data about you, including contact information such as name, email, address, telephone number, bank account number and CV. We also process your Social Security Number and, in some cases, CVR No. If you have previously been awarded funds from us, we will also process your application history.
In connection with the processing of your application, in some cases we process sensitive personal data about you, such as health data.
The sources of the personal data
The personal data is collected directly from you when you register as a user or when you create an application for the allocation of funds in our online application form. Your personal data may also be contained in documentation sent to us from others, including an organization with which you are affiliated, in connection with the organization's application for funds for a project with which you are affiliated.
The basis of treatment
We generally process your personal data on the basis of GDPR, Art. 6.1.b and, in part, GDPR, Art. 6.1.f. Processing will be done on the basis of GDPR, Art. 6.1.b, when the processing is necessary to enter into or fulfill the agreement to provide support to you, while processing will be done under the GDPR, Art. 6.1.f, when this is not the case. Our legitimate interests in this processing are to be able to contact you and/or process your personal data when your personal data is contained in documentation sent to us from others, including an organisation with which you are affiliated, in connection with the organisation's application for funds for a project with which you are affiliated.
In cases where we process sensitive personal data, this will be done on the basis of GDPR, Art. 9.2.f. When we process your Social Security Number, this will be done on the basis of Section 11 (2) (1) of the Data Protection Act, cf. GDPR, Art. 87.
You can also read more about our website's use of cookies hereto. Processing of cookie data is carried out on the basis of GDPR, Art. 6.1.f. Our legitimate interest is to be able to offer our users a clear and user-friendly website.
Storage
We retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose (s) for which the data is processed. Accounting materials are kept for five years from the end of the financial year to which the material relates. For further information on the retention periods of cookies, please refer to our cookie policy which you will find a link to at the bottom of this page.
Recipients
If necessary, we will share your personal data with a number of public authorities in connection with the allocation of funds.
Obligatory information
The information listed above under Categories of personal data is mandatory — in addition to the Social Security Number and bank account number — for reasons of user and case creation. If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to process your application and the application will therefore be rejected.
Should we disburse funds to you, e.g. in connection with the fulfilment of an application for the allocation of funds, it will be necessary for us to process your Social Security Number and bank account number at that time. If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to allocate funds to you.
Your rights
You have the following rights:
- You have the right to request access, rectification or deletion of your personal data.
- You also have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted.
- If the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. - You have the right to receive the personal data that you have provided yourself in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (data portability).
- You can always file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. Data Protection Authority.
In addition, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data in the following cases:
- If our processing of your personal data is based on GDPR, Art. 6.1.e (public interest or exercise of public authority) or Art. 6.1.f (balancing of interests), see above under Processing Basis, you have the right to object at any time to such processing on grounds that may relate to your particular situation.
- You also have an unconditional right to object to our processing of your personal data if we process your data for direct marketing purposes.
