Maria-Louise Terman Andreasen

The Bevica Foundation and the National Building Fund have entered into a strategic partnership with the aim of integrating the principles of universal design into the development of the social housing areas of the future. The collaboration focuses on creating inclusive and accessible urban environments where all residents—regardless of physical or cognitive abilities—can participate on equal terms.
As a consultant in the National Building Fund’s Department for Urban Strategy, Maria-Louise Terman Andreasen plays a central role in this partnership. She works to develop and implement urban-strategy initiatives that promote universal design in the planning and development of residential areas. Maria-Louise’s work helps ensure that the residential areas of the future are designed with a focus on accessibility, inclusion, and sustainability.
The partnership between the Bevica Foundation and the National Building Fund includes, among other things, the development of tools and methods that housing organisations and municipalities can use in their efforts to create more inclusive residential areas. In addition, the collaboration is part of a series of pilot projects in which the principles of universal design are tested and implemented in concrete urban development projects.
Through this collaboration, the Bevica Foundation and the National Building Fund are working together to set new standards for how social housing areas can be developed with a focus on universal design. The aim is to create residential areas that not only meet technical accessibility requirements, but also promote social inclusion and community among residents.
