Universal Design in nature

Listen to the new season of the podcast Bygtropolis and learn more about how with simple handles and simple facilities you can help strengthen communities and leisure life in Denmark. Leisure life is a big and important part of many Danes' everyday lives. We know that a good and open facility with hangouts and social spaces can invite new groups to become part of active communities and keep people coming together.
However, lack and poor physical environment prevents many Danes from being part of a leisure life. In a new and fifth season of the podcast Bygtropolis Locale og Anlægsfonden focuses on six cases that show how universal design, simple grips and simple facilities can invite many more Danes into leisure life. And there is a need for that.
In the first section you can meet Camilla Ryhl, Director of Research at the Bevica Foundation. Many Danes find it difficult to get out into nature, and many of nature's facilities are not designed for people with reduced functional abilities.
So how do we make nature accessible to all? This is discussed in more detail in the first paragraph of Bygtropoliswhere they have visited Troldhedestien in Kolding.
