Under the theme “Sustainable Futures — Leave no one behind”, it became the 28th. The UIA World Congress in Copenhagen 2023 with more than 6,000 architects, students, practitioners and industry professionals from 135 countries is the largest platform ever for the discussion on sustainable architecture that can be used by all.

Here, the international construction world and political actors were given the optimal framework to share ideas, solutions, visions and experiences, all of which should contribute to highlighting the essential role of architecture in achieving the UN's global goals, where no one is left behind.

A society for all bodies

Based on the title for Student Academy 2023: 'A Society Built for Every Body — Leaving No One Behind' We asked several congress participants across disciplines how we can create a society for all bodies.

Common to all responses is that they indicate a call for us all to gain a fundamental understanding of human diversity in order to create a sustainable future for all.

The various interviews can be seen here on the page.
