Jos Boys is an experienced researcher, lecturer and consultant. Her research focuses on fostering more creative, equitable, and accessible learning spaces and analyzes the complex interplay of policy, design, management, pedagogy, and user experiences.

Jos Boys is the co-founder of two internationally renowned projects: Matrix Feminist Design Collective in the 1980s and The DisOrdinary Architecture Project, which was established in 2007. Her work focuses on challenging conventional approaches to architecture and design by highlighting how both gender and disability can act as creative and critical drivers in shaping our physical environments.
