The idea behind the project was to challenge the classic idea of special education and IT backpacks for the academically challenged students.
“Universal design can help with this — precisely because these learning workshops can be designed so that the individual disciplines can provide accessibility for the most academically challenged students, while the learning workshops challenge the academically stronger students,” says Henrik Kasch.
In doing so, both groups were stimulated and gained something from being in the same teaching with the same teaching material despite different levels.
