Universal design creates inclusive solutions that support the UN's global goals and ensures that no one is left behind.

‍Universal design is about creating solutions that take into account the different functional abilities of people throughout their lives. It is based on an understanding that everyone should be able to participate on equal terms — regardless of physical, sensory or cognitive prerequisites.

Global goals with space for everyone

‍Leave No One Behind is a central part of the UN's global goals and points to the necessity of breaking down barriers. By using universal design in the implementation of the goals, we can ensure that no one is excluded — and thus create more equitable and sustainable societies.
