Get everyone involved in sports and movement at school

Under the heading “Get everyone involved in sport and movement at school,” the e-book provides inspiration for how teachers and educators can work with inclusion in school sports and movement communities.
All children and young people have the right to live an active life.
Unfortunately, it seems that children and adolescents with different types of disabilities and special needs participate to a lesser extent than their peers in physical activity and movement. There can be several causes, and these causes can often be a complex interplay between, on the one hand, the experiences of the individual — and, on the other, the surrounding world and the structures they encounter. But enabling movement or finding solutions to foster participation for all can be a difficult task to lift. This is true across both sectors and disciplines. This e-book is aimed at school staff and the ambition is that the e-book offers the reader a space for reflection, where knowledge and inspiration can be gathered that can be built on and adapted to their own practice. The reader can, among other things, immerse themselves in knowledge and professionally relevant tools aimed at inclusion in sport and movement at school.

The e-book
“Get everyone involved in sports and movement at school“is part of the project www.tibis.com. TIBIS stands for Adapted Sport and Movement in Schools and, in addition to the e-book, consists of a free e-learning course organized as eight modules. The eight modules offer knowledge about inclusion in sport and movement at school, as well as concrete didactic and pedagogical tools that support and qualify the work on inclusion. The e-learning course is aimed at current and future teachers and educators. The eight modules are designed with a flexible structure that allows the user to complete the modules in exactly the order they want.
