Better opportunities for movement for children and adolescents with mobility disabilities

At Bevica Fonden, we use advanced AI-based translation tools to make our Danish content accessible in English. However, some content – particularly academic articles and nuanced texts – require a level of linguistic accuracy and subject-specific precision that automated tools cannot yet guarantee.
This is why this article is available only in its original language (Danish). We have chosen not to offer an English version in order to preserve the integrity, clarity, and scholarly intent of the original work.
All children and young people should have the opportunity to have a physically active life! The country's municipalities play a key role in ensuring that children and young people with mobility disabilities experience the opportunity to participate in sports and movement communities.
It is the municipality's task to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with local, national and international objectives and legislation. But how do we create the best opportunities for all children and young people to be part of the sports and movement communities they encounter in, for example, school and leisure? You can find inspiration for this with this package of knowledge and tools that address municipal policy and practice.
