The Playbook for Universal Design

DTU Skylab has prepared a Playbook for Universal Design with the aim of inspiring the development of inclusive solutions — whether in teaching or for short workshops and longer work sessions. The Playbook for Universal Design contains a collection of design methods that can be used in any design process.
Each map contains useful information about different functional abilities and exemplifies these as both permanent and temporary. In this way, all functional abilities can be incorporated into the design process and the developer can be sure that they choose the most appropriate method to fulfill their purpose.
The Playbook for Universal Design is developed by post doc. Dagny Valgeirsdottir from DTU Skylab in collaboration with junior consultants Maria Væver Olsen and Astrid Kofod Trudslev.
It is part of the “Technology Leaving No One Behind” initiative, made possible by the Bevica Fonden. So far, the Playbook for Universal Design is available in playing card edition and digital, which can be found here: https://universaldesignguide.com/
