Pant It All (PIA): Exploring Global Accountability in Textile Waste through Universal Design

The project focuses on PIA Machines, innovative recycling stations designed to help address Denmark’s growing textile waste challenge. In this context, Adewale explores how universal design can shape an inclusive, globally accountable textile return system that minimizes environmental harm while ensuring accessibility for all.

Through fieldwork in Ireland, Chile, Spain, the UK, USA, Japan, and Taiwan, he aims to inform a system that is both sustainable and inclusive, encouraging participation across all user groups.

"Overlooking the beautiful city of Barcelona from the summit of Turó de la Rovira. Standing on these old Civil War bunkers gives you a 360-degree view that captures everything from the Sagrada Família to the deep blue of the coast. The late afternoon light here is pure magic."
