Pant It All (PIA): Exploring Global Accountability in Textile Waste through Universal Design
The project focuses on PIA Machines, innovative recycling stations designed to help address Denmark’s growing textile waste challenge. In this context, Adewale explores how universal design can shape an inclusive, globally accountable textile return system that minimizes environmental harm while ensuring accessibility for all.
Through fieldwork in Ireland, Chile, Spain, the UK, USA, Japan, and Taiwan, he aims to inform a system that is both sustainable and inclusive, encouraging participation across all user groups.
