The Bevica Foundation and the Danish Youth Disability Association (SUMH) have entered into a strategic partnership with the aim of strengthening young people’s opportunities for participation, influence, and equal access to communities through the principles of universal design. The partnership is rooted in young people’s own experiences of barriers in education, democratic processes, and everyday life, and works to turn these experiences into concrete knowledge and action.

William Korte is the chair of the Danish Youth Disability Association (SUMH). As chair, he represents young people with disabilities in the public debate and works to strengthen their opportunities for participation, influence, and equal rights in society. He has a particular focus on structural barriers and on ensuring that young people’s perspectives are incorporated into political decisions, organizational practices, and the development of more inclusive communities.
