Lene Nyhus Friis

The Bevica Foundation and Design School Kolding have entered into a multi-year partnership with the aim of integrating universal design into research and teaching. The partnership, which runs from 2021 to 2025, has received a grant of DKK 5 million from the Bevica Foundation.
Lene Nyhus Friis is project manager and head of LAB for PlayDesign, Lab for Social Design and Lab for Sustainability and Design at Design School Kolding.
The partnership between the Bevica Foundation and Design School Kolding aims to put universal design on the agenda and give all students the opportunity to learn how to design inclusive solutions for all people, regardless of any disabilities.
This collaboration is part of a larger effort to promote universal design in Denmark and ensure that designers of the future are equipped to create solutions that include all citizens.
