Richard Herriott

Richard Herriott graduated in industrial design from Aarhus School of Architecture in 2014 and conducts research in universal design and design processes. His research particularly focuses on universal design theory with the aim of strengthening its implementation in practice. He has investigated design processes and the connection between the choice of tools and data collection methods. This work has, among other things, led to studies of game development as a pedagogical method to strengthen the conceptual link between universal design goals and methods. Richard is also interested in research design and the craft behind design research, and is happy to contribute to supporting new researchers in the development of methods and academic writing.
