Caring architecture

Eva Gjessing is an Architect MAA, Merit Teacher and PhD student at Aarhus University, where she explores how school architecture sets the framework for inclusive communities and lived life at school. By approaching architecture as a material culture didactics, the school space is illuminated, from how it is imagined in the world of ideas to how it is practiced and lived socially. Eva contributes to the research network, with interdisciplinary perspectives that open to understanding architecture as a caring and co-creator of social sustainability.
