Anne Kathrine Frandsen

“We are creating a society where people can contribute and participate on equal terms, regardless of their preconditions.”
Architect Anne Kathrine Frandsen's research focuses on users' experience of the quality of architecture and the built environment. In particular, on how sensory and utilitarian qualities contribute to stimulating and equally inclusive environments for all, and how this can be created and maintained throughout the construction process, from programme and outline, to design and execution.
Anne-Kathrine Frandsen is part of the research scientific project dealing with the development of the Toveshøj public housing area in western Aarhus. The project is rooted in Bevica Fonden's partnership with Landsbyggefonden.
