Olivia Orlandi Grant
The Bevica Foundation and the Youth Agency have entered into a multi-year partnership focused on strengthening young people's engagement in democratic and community communities through universal design. The partnership aims to develop frameworks and formats that enable more young people to participate on their own terms.
Olivia is a deputy director in the Youth Bureau. Here she works to create better conditions for young people's involvement in society and decision-makers' engagement with young people. She is particularly concerned with challenging and nuancing what engagement is and who “the engaged youth are”. She believes that all young people can and will engage in society, and if they don't, it's the frameworks and formats it's mad with, not young people themselves
