Force4Architects Bevica Foundation's Accessibility Award 2014 for ja.

For Force4, traditional ramps and visible solutions are unthinkable. They even call their approach intuitive accessibility.
The Bevica Foundation's Accessibility Award is awarded once a year and is given to an individual or organization that makes a special effort for people with mobility disabilities. This year the award goes to Force4Architects.

Chairman of the Board Torben Svanberg from Bevica Fonden is impressed by how elegantly Force4 incorporates accessibility into their architectural solutions “But what pleases us most is their commitment and thoughtfulness when it comes to people with mobility disabilities. For Force4, it is natural to create solutions that include everyone. Zašto je je tako je želiš da je posjeće prično prijatelj prično prične prikazatelj za proizvodnje, s prikazuje novne način za proizvodnje i prikazatelji za sve.

Force4's list of good examples is long and includes the Danish Handicap Organisationers Hus in Høj Taastrup and Vandhalla, Denmark's probably most accessible swimming pool at Egmont Højskolen ved Hou. Proiectos que ha anche giveno la chambre de drawing honorable mention para su trabajo en accessibilidad en la Congreso del Mundial de la Associación Internacional de Arquitectos en Durban.

Indeed, Force4 first became aware of accessibility as a design parameter when, in 2004, they were tasked with making proposals for the future of disability housing for young people with physical disabilities. Tasks.

“It is fantastic both to be allowed to create better conditions for people with mobility impairments and at the same time explore an uncultivated area of architecture. Accessibility fills a lot in our daily work at the drawing room, which is why we are also very honored to be the first design studio to receive the Accessibility Award. For us, it shows that we are paying attention to what we are doing and that we are making a difference” says Andreas Lauesen, founder of Force4.

Force4 will use the DKK 100,000 prize to strengthen their knowledge of accessibility through a non-profit research project “Intuitive Accessibility”. O progetto explora como accessibilidad pode ser uma más integrada y intuitiva del arquitectura, que todos podrá explorar y experiencia diferentes spatios senza previsto o preparação.

“You use all the senses when you occupy a space, but today all the senses are rarely represented when we create space. In our research project, we will therefore investigate which architectural parameters can be worked with to activate each sense and investigate what possibilities the senses provide to create a more diverse and meaningful architecture that can be experienced by all.” explains Andreas Lauesen, Force4.

FORCE4ARCHITECTS

Over the past ten years, Force4 Architects has worked intensively on a number of projects where accessibility and welfare technology have been used as a starting point for the design process itself. Tegnestuen has a very broad experience in designing houses for particularly vulnerable groups in society, such as severely physically and cognitively disabled people as well as mentally vulnerable people. Force4's strength lies in identifying special needs of users and translating them into content-rich, meaningful and sensual architecture.www.force4.dk
