Tenna Doktor Olsen Tvedebrink’s work focuses on promoting sustainable architecture with an emphasis on human diversity. She is particularly interested in how historical, cultural, and social aspects interact with environmental, technical, and material factors in the early stages of the architectural design process. This approach is driven by an ethical perspective of care and a deep commitment to the well-being of both the planet and its people. A significant part of this involves methods for engaging marginalized citizen groups. She calls this 'Caring Sensibilities' and focuses on the use of narrative methods such as storytelling, scenarios, and storyboards. This 'storytelling toolkit' explores various personal narratives, norms, and historical layers across time and place. In this way, she hopes to contribute to the network with experience and knowledge on developing co-creative design methods that can update the design process and the architect's design tools.
