“We need to make the world better able to embrace people with different types of hearing impairments”

Marie Gorm Aabo is a PhD student at the Centre for Humanistic Health Research (CoRE), Saxo Institute, KU. Her areas of interest are aging, health and disease, hearing and tinnitus, and senses. Based on how tinnitus affects people's everyday lives, in her PhD project she explores how we can understand the importance of the sound environment for physical as well as mental health.

Tinnitus is more than a howl
