Together 2026
Together 2026 focuses on how universal design can be translated from research into practice to create more inclusive architecture.

Together 2026 – from research to inclusive architecture
The Royal Danish Academy hosts Together 2026 – the first seminar in a new conference series exploring disability, equity and universal design in architecture and design.
The seminar will present 11 research and artistic development projects exploring how universal design can be translated into practice. The projects cover a wide range of topics, from building conservation and sustainable housing to product design, pictograms and ageing.
The day will conclude with an open discussion on how research and new knowledge can contribute to more inclusive architecture.
Together 2026 is part of the five-year partnership “A Diverse View of Humanity and Equality through Architecture and Universal Design” between the Royal Danish Academy, Bevica Foundation, Rambøll Foundation and Dreyer Foundation.
