Creating Well-Being Through Public Spaces

Mikkel Hjort is a landscape architect and postdoc at the City of Copenhagen. His primary research interest is to create research-based knowledge about how the design of public spaces can help promote well-being. In his current research project, he focuses on teenage girls, but the method and the knowledge produced will be able to be used in relation to anyone who has a special need for support, so that “no one is left behind”.
