Law and AI in the Public Sector
Aysel Küçüksu is Assistant Professor of Law and Artificial Intelligence at iCourts, University of Copenhagen. She is also the co-founder of Public AI Database (www.public-ai.dk), Denmark's first database on the use of AI in the public sector — an initiative that aims to increase transparency and inform public debate about the growing role of AI in public administration. Aysel's research examines how and to what extent law reflects life lived, how people's experiences are interpreted in legal frameworks, and how these can be integrated more nuanced into the way we think about legislation. She is part of the research projects LexPlain and FLAIR, which examine the human rights implications of digitalization in the public sector.
