Breaking the Frame: Establishing Inclusion in Danish Museums through Universal Design

Museums play a key role in shaping cultural narratives, yet many still exclude visitors who don't fit the traditional visitor model. Camille Wenner explores how a shift from passive accessibility compliance to an truly inclusive environment in museums can create barrier-free experiences and representative spaces for all abilities.

By conducting research and fieldwork in the UK, Japan, and Australia, she will examine best practices in inclusive museum design, from policy structures to on the-ground interventions.
